We cut a showreel…
Polar Pip
Over a year since our last blog post…here is some Polar Pip loveliness to make up for it!
Farewell Paul
The sad news of Paul O’Grady’s death reminded us of that time Epico went to meet him on The Paul O’Grady show. We did it for expenses and that hard to calculate asset “exposure.” On returning I remember googling Paul’s net worth and reflecting that both he and we should really have known better. Note to all young artists: the only thing you “expose” by working on television for free, is your inexperience.
Bon voyage Paul.
The First Quarter
It has been a busy start to the year. In January our Snow Lion, Maxim, was invited to Muscat Nights for three weeks of performance. Huge thanks to our talented team who handled themselves expertly, crossing borders with flight cases, delivering consistently and supporting one another far from home.
Back on these shores Jamie and Michael took care of the annual refurb of the characters Creature Encounters created for Away Resorts. Scratch, Lucy and Bear have never looked better. We also ran an audition day for new Bear performers and are looking forward to training up the newbs at this years Bear School.
Meanwhile in house we are gearing up for Easter and preparing our dragons for St Georges Day. We also have a couple of new characters to launch across this year. Watch this space!
