Yikes, the Snow Lions appearance at Frenchgate Shopping Centre saw footfall spiking at 75000, not surprising when their Facebook video was viewed 42,000 times. Thats the power of social media aligned with Creature Encounters Big Beasts!

Summer draws to a close

Team Epico perform at Freedom Festival in Hull

Team Epico perform at Freedom Festival in Hull

We have finally arrived at the seasons close, a smattering of weekend gigs sprinkled through out September mark the end of our busiest summer to date. Highlights have included residencies at Alnwick Garden and Gatwick Airport, wowing the crowds at the Tournament in Conwy and the Festival of Glass in Stourbridge. Returning to Margarm Park for their Dragon Day, helping Hull celebrate its year as Capital of Culture at Freedom Festival and adding a touch of Wind in the Willows charm to a riverside wedding. We wish the bride and groom and all our audiences across this magical summer a heartfelt thanks.

Welcome Home

Team Snow Lion landed back in the UK safe and sound, though a little sleep deprived. Anyone who can guess which member of the team suffered a touch of Delhi belly, can be entered into a prize draw for a years internship with Creature Encounter!

Honopopo!

IMG_1209 (1) 2.jpg

Once again we returned to Margam Park on a journey into the golden age of adventure! To a time when the world was young and the maps had still to be written. A time when lost civilisations yearned to be found, and untouched islands called to gentlemen of fortune....islands such as, Honopopo!

After a joyous few days in the rehearsal room is was a privilege to take this piece back to Margam Park for its second stage of development. Video and images will be released in the coming month  as we unleash our new show into the world.
