Chinese NY

A rather snarky looking Aurelious Jones joined the children of Thomas Arnold Primary School with Epico last week. In addition to celebrating the Chineses New Year the pupils had won a compition for the most healthy meals consumed in the borough. Well done Thomas Arnold, keep munching at this rate and we will see you next year!

Here is a picture from the mystery gig we did last week, even three years on it still amazes me how well this guy photographs. You can just see our new work, Jamie's fabulous sign writing and a fluttering flag, on the left hand side.

One for his personal page me thinks!

Banner Men

Jamie has completed work on the Epico banner, a show promoting back drop to hang on our tent. We have also used paint effects to distress our pop up tent giving it a mouldering decayed feel. This includes a muddy giant foot print on the roof, incurred when Aurelious failed to honour his gambling debts to a cantankerous old troll!

Boooooooom!

A busy Easter weekend saw teams out at the Medway English Festival, The Red Dragon Centre and Clacton Pier. In between the performance we even found time to start distressing Aurelious's tent. The high light of our weekend however was being given a tour of the oldest building in Clacton, the derelict cast iron shell of the old theatre on the pier. Such an evocative space and the sought of place I imagine Aurelious and Epico living out their winter months!

Now we return to the workshop for Project Dinosaur :)
